Equipment

Our equipment selection is based on sound quality and versatility:

• All the equipment runs on 10-15V power, therefore allowing one common power supply or one lead paste battery to supply the entire system of mixer, receivers and recorders.
  

• The transmitters can accommodate mic or line inputs, giving the option for mixes to be transmitted to 2nd and 3rd cameras in large venues where running cables is not always possible.

• The receivers have a mic and headphone output with separate gain controls, allowing connection to VT machines and monitor speakers simultaneously.

• The Transmitter/Receiver combination can be used for IFB with multiple receivers from one transmitter.

• The mixers have digital outputs, allowing single cable connections to our recorders and keeping the signal in the digital domain right through to edit and final mix.

• The recorders have built in time code with all frame and sample rates available and can also accept external time code.

• Our custom made sound trolley can handle up to 16 mics, have 2 digital recorders, a wireless comms system, a matrix mixer for monitoring and talkback, video monitor, and a full playback system for music videos.  The entire system runs on battery power if mains is unavailable, making it ideal for remote shoots where getting a generator truck is impossible.  The cart has multiple outputs for multi camera shoots and studio based dramas. 

• Our 4 channel compact cart has similar features to our trolley, including full playback and wireless monitoring.

• All media recorded on location is checked in Protools and time stamped files are burned to CDR or DVDR for edit and final mix. All media is backed up and archived indefinitely for future reference.

• We have cables and adaptors to connect anything to anything, including military grade umbilical cables to connect mixers to cameras.
  

• And of course we can customize any kit to whatever you may need.
